Yet again (soon to be ex-) President Trump, otherwise known to us as La Gran Naranja, has used the Tweeter social platform to demean and insult Senator Elizabeth Warren, calling her "Pocahontas."

In what has become routine embarrassment for all Americans, Trump continues to use his bully pulpit to offend the public while attacking his political opposition.
Worse than the lack of civility, is the lack of wit and imagination in his poor use of the English language. Of course he does think he is witty and funny. I can only imagine that somewhere in the background is Kellyanne Conway laughing at all of us while encouraging the moron to continue his attacks.
Of course the real butt of the joke are the millions of his followers who think Trump has their best interests at heart, when we all know the only thing in his heart is a clogged artery the rest of us have begun rooting for.
The "Pocahontas" joke is based on an attack against Elizabeth Warren's Native American Heritage which conservatives have called fake and tried to use against her to argue she was untrustworthy. She has defended it by saying she was raised to believe that she was part Native American, a fact that her family has corroborated. However, because she does not look like the sterotypical Native American and because records of Native American ancestry are difficult to corroborate, Trump's base has continued to feed off their racist stereotypes with the pre-school level attacks.
